Fancy a Marshmallow Rabbit?

Finally I have got a little bit organised and have sewn the buttons on my 5 Marshmallow bunnies and they are ready to go on sale, just in time for the silly season.

After lots of deliberation I have decided to list them on ebay rather than etsy as there are only 5 and I have had a barrow load of enquiries – so I couldn’t think of an easier way to let everyone have a fair go at getting in. Because of this, I am donating 5% of the sale of the rabbits to Oxfam Australia and it’s only a three day auction so I can get them off as soon as possible so that they will reach people in plenty of time for Christmas.

Please note that these auctions are in Australian dollars.

Lots more photos and details here.

Oh my goodness.
Oh Claire, you should make more & more & more so then we’d ALL get a chance to own one. Sigh. These bunnies are so perfect.

Is that your littlest girl? Are you SURE she’s going to part with that bunny? So sweet.

They are gorgeous! Really beautiful.

So…… when are you making some more? Please! As I know my daughter would be besotted, but she is under 3 and the buttons would pose a problem (she is a big button sucker).

Well done :)

You’ve been a busy bee Claire – they’re all gorgeous.

As an aside, can you just buy Chenille at Spotlight or is it a speciality item? Leila loves fluff and despite making a new quilt to replace “blanky” she still insists on pulling the felt off more and more so that it’s now shrinking blanky. I thought something with chenille may satisfy her very tactile nature. Let me know. Victoria

I so love these dolls. When I first saw these a few years ago on your blog, it totally turned me [back] on to sewing and crafty things. I would love to make one of these for my daughter. I’ve been hoping for a pattern ever since.

Why do I have to be such a loser and miss these things. The bunnies are absolutely wonderfully great. Awesome, as always, Claire.

Any chance you’ll be making more marshmallow bunnies? My 3 year old is a fierce stuffed animal lover.
