Collaboration

I left a doodle in blue pencil on the kitchen table on Friday night. On Saturday morning after breakfast I found a little elf had elaborated on it in yellow texta. I like the composition.
How about this freezing cold weather?! We’ve had the heating turned up an extra notch and the kids are all into lego, library books and pancakes so Winter is still okay around here. I had forgotten how exceedingly delicious it is to get into bed early with rain on the roof, the electric blanket on and a good book.
File under inspiration - from my weekend of blog browsing: felt balls (what to do with all those yarn scraps!), sampler pillows with two colour embroidery, elves on mushrooms (via the Lark), gorgeous toys from Udder and primitive tea and coffee stained creatures from Little Black Crow Studio.

AJ has definitely inherited your drawing skills! I loved all the links in this post, just wish I had more time to surf (like you I have two little girls and I’m very glad to see you back at loobylu, you give me a lot of inspiration to keep going with creative things!)

what talent! I love the drawing. It looks like you found out how to use your leftover scraps.

V.Sweet - lego is big here too - for me and child! - I’d forgotten how addictive legoland is.

Wow, thanks Loobylu, I’m usually filing you under “inspiration”.
And its still freezing here in Hobart. Snow in the backyard and we’re down to burning the kitchen table to keep warm!
If only I could train my cats to hold pencils or needle and thread then I could get some help around here!
cheers

Funny to read of how freezing it is, when it’s mid summer in Southern California. A hard frost and a blazing fire sound like a fairytale right now!
