I am so sorry — yesterday’s recipe should have read “Self raising flour”, not plain flour.

I made it! It smells nice! Smell! Mmmmmm! Doesn’t it smell nice. I have that very tin! So hopefully it will come out in one piece and the cake gods will be smiling on me! I think a dribbly chocolate icing would be good – what sort of icing does your mum use, Loobs? It’s cooling down now – and if the boys don’t get to it, i might just be able to ice it!
