Ok this is such a fab idea. I was just about to send a whole heap of toilet rolls to my daughters kindergarten. Looks like they’ll only get half now. I also loved your vintage caravan post. It inspired me so much – I jumped on ebay to see if there were any for sale – pathetic really. But the idea of one of these vintage beauties as an art studio is priceless.

Well, I’ve just ordered a beret kit and now I’m off to water the garden while thinking about using my toilet rolls for veggie seedlings next year.

Hooray! Nice to know you are back! So many great ideas and links already!
We don’t have council recyling here in Alice Springs (too remote) so I’m racking my brain to reduce, reuse, and recycle home-style!

Welcome back!
I am totally in awe by Luis Cook’s sketch book images, they blew me away. Thanks for that link and also for the loo roll recycling, i am going to plant some seeds tomorrow in the loo rolls i’ve been saving.

I’m so glad you’re back! I visited your page just a day before your return post and was disappointed to see you were still gone–even as I still sent the link to friends and told them to read the archives.
Hooray, hooray!
I love your comic rehab panels. They make me say “squee!” even more than Patches (hingos.com/patches)

Well.. Hurrah for that beret, although I feel I might look a bit like a pudding in one. I really DO want to make something other than a very long scarf this winter.

Hurrah for toilet rolls too – we just planted Sunflowers and Pumpkin seeds in old biscuit tins – but you are quite right, toilet rolls can be foxy too.

Hurrah, Looby Lu is back!

Thank you so much for the toilet paper roll idea. I just love using something I was going to throw away on a project I was going to have to buy something for.

I love that beret. I might have to have a go at something like that for this winter.
I also really like the dress she is wearing.
Great idea with the toilet roles. I sent a heap to my son’s kinder last year but they sent them home again citing hygiene risks!!

The toilet paper seedling pots are a great idea. No more spending money on those store seedling pots when I can make my own. Thanks for sharing!
