Comic Artist’s Rehab

In November last year I was lucky enough to participate in Amber’s Comic Artist Rehab project. The task was to produce four panels every four days for four weeks and it was really tough. It seems that in every round since there is a slump of enthusiasm around the half way mark. I stopped colouring my panels around that point. This is the first installment. The rest of the Warm Kitty story can be found here, you need to work from the bottom up for the continuity to work. Visit the tasty artists from this round and post some encouragement. It always made a big difference.

Lovely to see you back. Even more now that the gremlin that stopped me seeing the posts on your site seem to have vacated the premises. Gorgeous new site design.

I remember having to do that in Middle School. I made my egg a bed in an old butter tub — I packed it with doll blankets and I cut half of the lid out and covered the rest with fabric to look like a blanket — and I drew a face on it and everything. I would make my parent’s babysit and pay them by doing extra chores.

So delighted to hear your ‘voice’ again! Loobylu was the first blog I ever visited after seeing Ms Megabyte feature your blog on GMA with Burt. The addiction has grown and breathed freshness into many a stale day.
Thank you!
