It’s just a few days over a year since I stopped updating here and, predictably, I have been missing it. I feel like it’s time to start up again. Do you like our button squash? Some got a little too big and tough but the little ones are delicious steamed, with a big blob of butter and sprinkling of pepper. See you tomorrow!

Oh my, you’re back! This is great news, I’m so happy!!
eeek, your back! Great news, I’ve really missed your blog, I’ve looked around at the odd blog, but only found one other (apart from yours) that’s had me hooked as a regular – (http://www.lintrezza.com/blogger.html) – and that’s Linda Cockburn’s site – author of the good life – and of course you know where I found out about her from! Really loved all the bits of inspiration within your blog when it was last up and running – I bought the laptop lunch boxes, discovered curious george, rediscovered the moomins, etc. etc. and I see you’ve mentioned my all time favourite Milly Molly Mandy once more. I recently discovered that her appeal is very broad and that after initial protest of ‘that’s a girl book’ my 6 year old boy loves the stories as much as his big sister and mum.
I’ve been enjoying some home grown button squash as well, they’re just so pretty aren’t they. Though I think next time I’d need to grow more, as my one tub of them only ever yields 2 or 3 at best at a time.
