I’m his Mrs
Four years ago today Big-P and I stood on the steps of the registry office holding hands in a freezing cold wind with a small group of our closest and our mostest and tingled with the weird feeling that we were just freshly married.
This is a photo of us taken a few years before that – it’s fuzzy so we look good. Actually we probably did look pretty good — not tired and haggard like we do right now (when WHEN will she decide to not get up in the middle of the night??).

Happy Anniversary. Do you want the bad news? Brooke is 5 and still gets up at least once a night for any of the following reasons :
I had a bad dream.
The covers have fallen off my bed.
I need to go to the toilet
Is it morning yet?
I thought I heard my brother crying.
I’m lonely and would like a cuddle.
Seriously, you wouldn’t believe with a 1 year old and a 5 year old in the house that the 5 year old is the most trouble? We’ve started a sleep chart which seems to do the trick, smiley faces if she stays in bed and stickers for smiley faces. Its hard work though!

Our oldest is just over four now and sleeps through the night most nights. The nights he doesn’t he just crawls into bed with us without waking anyone up. It’s a start. Now if only we could get the small one to sleep in a room other than ours…

I want to know why my kids (3 and 1) get up early on the days I havent got to be anywhere and on the days we have preschool I have to drag them out of bed?!?! Kids are just weird little people..hehe..hope you both had a nice day!

I picked up a notice at the “Stitches & Craft Show” about a new patchwork shop opening in Bentleigh at the end of September. It is called “Amitee” meaning friendship, at 281 Centre Road.
