Apart from having a birthday yesterday, Ben has also created a cool blog monitoring service. If you run AOL instant messanger and you click here , you will be notified when Loobylu is updated! Sweet!

Oh, oh, I love it!! We could have your robot pop up instead of the IM’s, and if we could have audio and animation with it as well, that would be perfect!

Wow, thanks for the link! I have been unhappy with RSS aggregators and this solves my problems! I leave Trillian on 24/7, so this will work perfectly.

Call me a romantic, but I actually get a bit of a kick out of opening up blogs *not knowing* whether they’ve been updated. It makes the thrill of discovery even more intense when there’s something new and exciting. Or new, anyway.
